A Lightweight Duo that Packs a Punch!

We are a Married Duo of well seasoned and retired US Army Band Veterans who individually have performed for the likes of President Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton, and members of the British Royal Family. Collectively, we have performed all over the world to include Hawaii, New York, Los Angeles, Nashville, Memphis, New Orleans, Disneyland, Kansas City, Arizona, Virginia, Europe, Japan, and the Middle East.

Completely at home performing for banquets, ceremonies, engagements with dignitaries, and concerts, Nylon Wind is a Duo that is perfect for any social engagement.

We are very conscious of and sensitive towards serving the needs of our clients. We understand and respect the difference between a concert performance where we are the focus of the attention, and playing background music where our purpose is to elevate the atmosphere of an event.

Specifically, we are very aware of the need of guests and staff to be able to hold conversations during social engagements. The music must always add to the social experience and never be an encumbrance.

We have over 10 hours of music that can suit any social engagement.  Flute and Guitar pair especially well with Brazilian music as well as Classical Music. But you would be pleasantly surprised how well Pop and Jazz sounds in our sonic palette as well.

Pleasing to the ear, our instrumentation is never too loud. When it comes to the atmosphere of your event, call us “Goldilocks”. We’re always just right.

Want a Trio?  Quartet?  No problem.  We can easily scale to as big and loud as your event calls for.

Our Trio would add an Upright Bass, and our Quartet would include drums/percussion.
